Installation Manual

  • Snap Profile

  • H Profile

  • Aluminum Sealing Bar

Pro Tips:

Wait until after the sheets are installed to cut them to the correct length. This ensures an even edge, even if your pergola is curved or not perfectly square.
DO NOT install against a wall without leaving room for expansion. Leave at least 1/4" for sheets up to 12' and 1/2" for sheets over 12'.
Remove the protective film from the bottom side of the sheet first. Wait to remove the film with the logo until after installation. The logo side denotes the UV-protected layer and ensures you do not install the sheets upside down.
Leave a 3/16" to 1/4" gap on each side of the sheet to allow for expansion.

  • Step 1

Lay the bottom part of the snap profile on the rafters or purlins

  • Step 2

Screw it down every 2 feet (minimum)

  • Step 3

Lay polycarbonate sheets on both sides of the profile, then snap the top part of the profile into place

Note: If the structure doesn’t allow you to install the connectors at the exact required distance, you will need to trim the sheet to the correct width

  • Step 1

Fix two sheets in place with a 1.5-inch gap between them

  • Step 2

Slide the H profile between the sheets

  • Step 3

Screw the H profile every 2 feet

Fix two sheets in place with a 1.5-inch gap between them, then slide the H profile between the sheets, ensuring that the H profile rests on the beam. Screw the H Profile to the beam every 2 feet

  • Step 1

  • Step 2

  • Step 3

Place two sheets together along the beam, leaving a 1/4" gap between them for expansion.
Place an aluminum sealing bar along the connection line.
Screw the sealing bar to the beam every 2 feet.

• Apply aluminum tape to the top of the sheet and vented (anti-dust) tape to the bottom to protect against dust, bugs, and debris.
• Install U caps to seal the edges.

When pre-drilling polycarbonate, make the hole 1.5 to 2 times the diameter of the fastener to allow for thermal expansion and contraction

Use screws with neoprene gaskets (1 inch) or plastic washers

Place screws every 2 feet. For example, for a sheet measuring 4 ft x 8 ft, you will need 15 screws

Avoid over-screwing

No need to put screws into the sheet near the connector if the connector is screwed in

After installing all U caps and H/Snap profiles, apply a thin layer of silicone where the connectors meet the sheet for added sealing and protection
